Desiging a harmonic filter for a cement factory....dnt knw hw to start help me?

am doing my final year engineering project {electrial and electronics} in designing a harmonic filter for cemnt factory....and then simulationg it in matlab....plzz help me..am zero now..plzzz help ...hw to start up with......:(
