Is the American South anything like the Middle East?

Wow, 'someguy' must be one tough liberal hombre, since all the guys in big 'white' trucks just 'run away' when his big bad self gets out of his hybrid Prius with the Obama sticker on it. Maybe they're afraid he'll hit them with a piece of tofu, or throw a latte from Starbucks in their faces.
