Ok, so my mom is suffering frm an incurable disease....and now she's being cured?

first of all, she has something called anterior horn cell disease, and its similar to ALS, but not as deadly, and its also an incurable disease. She was treated here in the US, but they gave her the wrong treatment and she got worse. Then she went to India, and they found a doctor over there that has CURED ppl of this disease, and now im wondering, why havent the WEST found this breakthrough when ppl over there have CURED ppl like this, im just praying that she will get better, and im sooo glad she is showing signs of improvement, but i dont get why doctors over here in North America havent found this cure, and doctors over there have! Why is that??
